Speak your mind.  Support a cause.

Using BIG FONT on my computer, I can create words large and clear enough
to be read at a distance.  Sometimes they are 200pt.
Conundrum for consideration:
It uses less toner to use a big marker.
It uses less markers to use toner.
End fact: Unless you have great clear writing skills,
your sign may not be legible if you hand write it.

You can use pretty wide paintbrushes also.  First I make a little protptype drawing  (a rough draft) of where the words should go and how the letters relate to each other. Then I take the big poster board or paper and use a ruler to make top and bottom guidelines for each line of words.  Then I pencil in the words lightly and use that to help get the paint in the right place.

However you make your words, you can cut and paste onto colorful poster board backed by thicker cardboard if needed.
Sandwich a flat stick between the layers
or tape a stick to the back.

Be creative with shapes and color
 to emphasize your point.

Ka Sham is on the back side of the sign below:  Transfers North or South are still a....
Front and back sides are great for parades and marches.    Turn the sign slowly as you walk.    Entertain those behind you!

In the Living Cartoon (in the menu option More than 2 Dimensions!), Ka-Sham changes to Ka-Shame with just a sleight of hand addition of that powerful letter e.

Would Love to Hear from You.
